Военнослужещи от 55-и инженерен полк – Белене, от състава на Сухопътните войски оказаха съдействие в организирането и провеждането на 65-ото масово преплуване на р. Дунав, което се проведе до местността „Паметниците” край гр. Свищов.
Масовото преплуване се организира от община Свищов и се реализира със съдействието на 55-и инженерен полк, Граничните власти, доброволци и др.
За мероприятието беше построен 60-тонен паром, от който над 100 участници взеха старт в преплуването. (БА)
